UP CPMT Eligibility

Educational Qualification
The candidate for appearing in the exam must have passed in 10+2 in the science stream with Physics, Chemistry and Biology and English as one of subjects or other equivalent examination of recognized Board / University in U.P. with 50% average marks in the Science subjects (for General category candidates) and 40% for OBC/SC/ST candidates.

  • For BAMS Course: Madhyama Examination Passed Students of Sampurnanand Sanskrit University, Varanasi is eligible.
  • For BUMS Course: High School or equivalent Examination Passed with Urdu.
  • For MBBS/BDS Course: the eligibility conditions will be as specified by the Medical Council of India.

Note: The candidates appearing in the qualifying examination in the year respective year are also eligible subject to the showing of evidence of passing the examination at the time of counselling.

Age Limits:
Aspiring candidate must be completed the age of 17 years at the time of admission or will complete the age on or before 31st December of the year of his/her admission to the 1st year.

Other Eligibility Conditions
A candidate should be a resident of Uttar Pradesh. If not, he should fulfil the residence criteria laid by the U.P. government for applying to the UPCPMT Exam.

UP CPMT Syllabus

UP CPMT consists of questions from the +2 level syllabus of Physics, Chemistry and Biology.

UP CPMT Pattern

UP CPMT consists of two parts have objective type multiple choice question as given below.

Chemistry and Physics 100 2 Hrs.

After qualifying both these papers, the candidate has to appear for the third paper of Hindi Language - objective type multiple choice -taken to evaluates the Hindi language ability of the candidates.
