NEET Syllabus

The Medical Council of India (MCI) recommends the following syllabus for National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for admission to MBBS courses across the country (NEET”.’ UG) after review of various State syllabus. This is to establish a uniformity across the country keeping in view the relevance of different areas in medical education.

NEET Exam Pattern - Language

  1. Candidates can opt for Question Paper in either of the following languages such as English, Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Marathi, Oriya or Kannada.
  2. The option of medium of question paper will be exercised during the form filling process.
  3. The option once exercised cannot be changed later by the candidate.
  4. Candidates who opted for English will be given the English test booklet only.
  5. Candidates who opted for Hindi will be provided with the Bilingual Test Booklet, i.e., in Hindi and in English.
  6. Candidates who opted for vernacular languages will be provided with the Bilingual Test Booklet, i.e., in the selected language and in English.
  7. In case of any ambiguity in translation of any of the questions, its English version will be treated as final.
